Globe Studios is the telco’s first foray into content creation in partnership with Netflix. It will produce original movies and TV series to meet the demand for mobile entertainment.
It will be backed by Viva Films, Reality Entertainment, Quantum Films, Spring Films and Astro of Malaysia, and will serve as a platform for new content from well-known directors such as Erik Matti, Paul Soriano, Quark Henares, Dan Villegas, Sigrid Bernardo, Joyce Bernal, and Lav Diaz.
Content produced by Globe Studios will be seen in theatres as well as digital mobile platforms.
