The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) was under fire yesterday as a screenshot of their web portal spread through social media for taking a lot of design cues from Facebook.
As can be seen from the screengrab above, the website for the PRC Licensure Examination & Registration Information System (LERIS) greatly resembles the login page of Facebook in layout and overall design. We first thought it was fake until we visited the site. It looks like a phishing portal for Facebook but, it’s a Philippine Government portal for registered professionals.
The fiasco must have reached the concerned parties as they have changed the website a bit earlier today — a change in color (see below).
Looks like the people in charge of the portal has some explaining to do. Let’s hope they change it soon and have it done professionally.
