GrabTaxi introduces GrabBike service within Makati and BGC

Apart from sedan and premium vehicles, transport-app GrabTaxi now offers a new service using motorcycle taxis or locally known as habal-habal.

The service is called GrabBike and its roll-out is currently limited within the bustling premises of Makati and BGC. A group of habal-habal drivers swarming at the BGC Bus terminus near Ayala-MRT station are already giving similar service to commuters. With the regulation and convenience of booking, they might just have an edge over 4-wheeled vehicles who can’t get pass-thru heavy traffic.

The base fare for GrabBike is Php 40 for the first 2 kilometers and an additional Php 10/km for the succeeding distance within 2-7 kilometers. A discounted Php 5/km rate is applied if your ride exceeds 8 kilometers.
