Take note that this number is for devices only reported to the main NTC office at Quezon City for the past year alone. The number of lost and/or stolen phones reported to the NTC’s offices nationwide has been seen the ten thousands, and tend to increase up to 23 percent yearly, except in 2011 where reported devices went down six percent from the previous year.
