Sony a5100 announced, an a6000 without the EVF

Sony has officially announced the a5100 mirrorless camera which sports internals similar to the a6000 – 24.3 megapixel APS-C sensor, hybrid autofocus system, and a touchscreen display, but without the electronic viewfinder.

The Sony a5100 (ILCE-5100) will be available in September with a price tag of $550 for the body-only or $700 for the kit that includes a 16-50mm motorized zoom lens (model SELP1650).
