iOS apps go free ahead of App Store’s 5th Anniversary

Apple’s App Store is turning 5 on July 10th and it looks like it’s celebrating its upcoming anniversary by making some paid apps free for download for a limited time.

According to The Verge, this is the first time that these apps were given away for free like the $5.99 Infinity Blade II and the $19.99 Traktor DJ so these are really great bargains. Below is the list of free apps found so far:

Infinity Blade II ($5.99)

Traktor DJ ($19.99)

Superbrothers: Sword and Sworcery EP ($4.99)

Day One ($4.99)

Where’s My Water? ($0.99)

Badland ($1.99)

Tiny Wings ($0.99)

Barefoot World Atlas ($4.99)

Over ($1.99)

We’re expecting more paid apps to go free as we approach the day itself. If you spot more please feel free to contribute by posting it at the comments field below. Thanks!
