Lenovo announces ThinkPad X1 Carbon Touch

Lenovo has just announced the ThinkPad X1 Carbon Touch – the touch-optimized, Windows 8-powered version of the ThinkPad X1 Carbon.

For starters, the ThinkPad X1 Carbon Touch has a 14.4-inch HD+ touchscreen display and is powered by either an Intel Core i5 or i7 processors. It features a multi-gesture glass touchpad, Dolby Home Theater v4 sound system, MS Lync, HD face tracking camera and dual-array microphones. The Carbon Touch is also made of carbon fiber, has a thickness of 20.8mm, and weighs 3.4 lbs which Lenovo claims to be the world’s lightest 14-inch Touch Ultrabook.

The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Touch starts with a price tag of $1,399 (around Php57,300) and is already on sale in the US.
