October 29 to November 4, 2012 is a Monstrous Week in all branches of California Pizza Kitchen because they’re giving away a free regular pizza for every order of family-sized pasta. I’d say both are definitely good! Take your pick from the following pizza flavors: Pepperoni, Hawaiian, Five Cheese & Fresh Tomato, Hawaiian BBQ Chicken and their bestselling Original BBQ Chicken Pizza!

We got to taste this delight (among other dishes!) when we checked out CPK’s newest branch in Lucky Chinatown last week. They gave out free pizzas on Oct. 25, opening day (but I guess it’s too late to announce now). We love the refreshing concept they have in the store such as putting potted herbs on the table and California prints on the wall.

Aside from the delicious and generous servings of their entrees, the Lucky Chinatown branch also served as a venue for rolling out CPK’s all-new dessert menu. My favorites in the bunch are (in photo) Chocolate Sin which had chocolate ganache kisses on top of flourless chocolate cake, and the Mango Crunch composed of delicate mango mousse with layers of walnuts and light cream. What more, guests can avail of refillable brewed coffee for just P50 with any order from the dessert list.
