Every month of September General Santos City celebrates its annual Tuna Festival. This year the festival is now on its 14th year, coinciding with the 44th charter anniversary of the City of GenSan.
This year the festival rides on the 2012 Department of Tourism Campaign “It’s More Fun in the Philippines”, with its own version Tuna Fest, tuna Fun in Magandang Gensan!” This year’s theme is an open invitation for everyone both the locals and the tourists to get their fulfillment of fun and quality entertainment in the City of Generals.
