Hope for the Flowers exhibit unveiled at the SM Mall of Asia!

I recently attended the unveiling of the Hope for the Flowers photo exhibit at the Mall of Asia. The event is organized by Glaxo Smithkline.

Glaxo Smithkline is the leading company in the Philippines in campaigning for the vaccine against HPV the main cause of the cervical cancer.

Behind the Hope for the Flowers exhibit is acclaimed photographer Jun De Leon.

The photos featured at the exhibit were taken during the recently-concluded Tour of Hope, a 500-kilometer bike race from Muntinlupa down to the sports capital of the Bicolandia, Camarines Sur.

Every pitstop in key cities, lectures are done to educate the women on how to avoid the cervical cancer. As we GSK said, cervical cancer is now a preventable disease.

During the program Glaxo Smithkline also donated the sum of PHP700,000++. Amount which was collected during the week-long bike race.

The exhibit will run until Wednesday at the Main Mall area, fronting the French Baker.
