Join our Partner Associate Program

Bitstop Inc is inviting IT trainors and professors to join us in our Partner-associate program. Bitstop Inc is offering access to our vast IT resource library that includes Cisco, Microsoft and other IT vendor manuals (except those that are specifically covered by NDA with our Principals). Some of these items include our Keystore IT video courses andMicrosoft TECHNET DVDs. These materials can not be taken OUT of Bitstop Inc, but must be 'consumed' on site.

In return, we ask that the IT professors and trainors do two things for us:

1. Echo the learning materials to their students and give us first crack at hiring them.

2. Be available for consultancy jobs that we may have for them in the Asia Pacific Region. (Of course, with pay)

Gateway LT1001i Netbook: My newest Wishlist

Last December, I mentioned in a blog post that I needed a laptop (or at the very least, a netbook) for my day-to-day blogging needs. It was also the reason why I included it in my Christmas Wishlist.

Until now, owning a netbook still remains on my wishlist. Everytime I attempt to shell out money for this need, another priority or more important matters come along.

Gateway LT1001i

Recently, I attended the launch of a new line of computers and my urge to get a new netbook sparked flames again.

Among the products that instantly caught my fancy is the Gateway LT1001i Netbook.

At 1.6kg this netbook won’t be a big hassle when traveling. And when I tested the demo unit, I really have no problem with the keyboard since it is 89% of the standard keyboard size. The LT1001i is perfect for travelers or people on the go like me. This Gateway Netbook is already equipped with WLAN card for seamless Internet connectivity.

Gateway computers are also known for the impressive hardware hidden under their chich facades. They are known to be top of the line and best of breed.

And what really surprised me is that the Gateway LT1001i is reasonably priced at PHP21,xxx complete with Windows XP Home Edition.

Now I hope that I can finally get this unit soon for my blogging needs.
