It was a night of fun, laughter and scrumptious foods at the California Pizza Kitchen (CPK) last week. Several bloggers were invited to create their own CPK signature pizza. For a start, we were served with delectable appetizers. That spring roll-like foodie is good especially if paired with guacamole.

During the registration we were asked to pick our recipe from the pizza box. I picked the Goat Cheese with Roasted peppers. The name alone sounds mouth-watering.

It was my first time to create a pizza. Yeah, I know now that its not really hard to do it. It’s like putting all the stuff on your pizza crust then spread it evenly, then throw it into the hearth. after a few minutes, voila! California Pizza Kitchen Goat Cheese with Roasted Pepper is now ready to be served.

The flavor is good. I love it. The strong salty flavor of bacon complements the sweetness of the onions and the creaminess of the goat cheese.

I tried Bong’s pizza Tricolore (Italian for Three colors) and it is a winner too. The crust tastes good. But it doesn’t really look like a pizza, but more of a vegetable salad topped with paper-thin slices of Parmesan cheese. A feast for the eyes!

But my top vote goes to Ferdz’s Thai pizza. It has the Oriental dressing flavor, topped with some chicken bits, salad greens and peanuts.

Their Chicken Tandoori pizza is good too, but since I am not really a big fan of Indian foods, I didn’t really enjoy it well.

Definitely I’d be back in California Pizza Kitchen for some more Pizza adventure!
