At long last I got the chance to watch 50 first dates. I grabbed a DVD copy from the nearest shopping mall and impatiently hurried home because I might change mind and return the DVD if I stayed longer in the store. I don’t buy DVD and hardly ever rent a movie, I know something more important (for me) than spending money on some movies. I’d rather listen to radio. Call me stingy I don’t mind.
But this movie is one thing that I really want to watch especially after watching some of Adam Sandler’s movies at work. Oooooppss! I was allowed to because I need to sit and watch with the little girl that I nanny.
Most of the people I know told me that its uber romantic but they didn’t tell me that I am going to fall in love with Henry (Adam Sandler’s character). I even forgot Nicolas Cage in his City of Angels after watching the movie and I tell you I scratched My Best Friend’s Wedding out of my mind (yes I love the movie so much) and I dwelled on where to find the likes of Henry.
