4 ways of getting Stumble Upon traffic for your blogs

I’ve been a “stumbler” for over a year now but I was not getting any stumbles for my pages because I was not doing anything! I’ve read several good articles about how Stumble Upon can boost your traffic but totally disregarded them. Until recently, I attempted to try Stumble Upon and saw how my blog traffic massively grew.

Previously, I was only getting up to 20 visitors at one time. Last February 24, 2008, this blog had 372 online users, which was the highest so far. Right now, Stumble Upon is one of my top traffic sources.

So how to get traffic from Stumble Upon? Follow these simple steps.

1. Install the StumbleUpon toolbar in your browser. It is available as extension to both Firefox and Internet explorer browser.

2. Start stumbling as soon as possible. Stumble your own posts and others’. You may exchange stumbles with your friends.

3. Read and follow some great advices from stumblers. Blog Anything posted 10 ways to get Stumble Upon traffic.

4. Join Stumble Udon. It’s a free stumble exchange. I have to say that this has been mostly responsible for my traffic surge lately. It has also made way for my other “un-stumbled” posts to get noticed. Read my previous post about it.
