ALI Launches Vermosa, a modern suburban community in the south

Ayala Land, Inc. (ALI) marked another milestone as it introduced Vermosa, its 3rd largest masterplanned estate in the country to date.

Considered as another growth center in the South, covering the districts of Dasmariñas and Imus in Cavite, ALI sees Vermosa as a chance to increase business activity that could create more jobs for more people. “We view this as way of becoming a strong partner of Cavite – one of the country’s most industrialized and fastest growing provinces,” said ALI President and CEO Bernard Vincent O. Dy. “Five years from now and even beyond, we believe Vermosa will thrive and offer the people of Cavite new options for an enhanced quality of life,” he added.

Vermosa is a 700-hectare integrated mixed-use development that is positioned to take advantage of robust prospects and stimulate growth in Metro South. Envisioned to be a modern suburban community, it will offer a balanced mix of various mixed-use components – a wide range of residential and retail options, offices, institutional developments, and entertainment centers, all integrated by garden zones, parks and civic spaces that encourage social interaction.

Vermosa will be highly accessible with the newly opened four-kilometer Muntinlupa-Cavite Expressway (MCX), which connects Daanghari to South Luzon Expressway and shortens travel time to Cavite by 30 percent, making Vermosa 55 minutes away from Makati during peak hours. It will also be few minutes away from Manila with the upcoming Cavite-Laguna Expressway (CALAX).

Apart from its proximity and accessibility, another distinct feature of Vermosa will be the Vermosa Sports and Lifestyle Complex (VSLC), to further ALI’s objective of enriching more lives by integrating a healthy and active lifestyle with everyday living.

VSLC will be the first of its kind in the country and will primarily cater to triathlon enthusiasts and other related sports such as marathon, swimming, and cycling. It will have an Olympic-size pool, a 400-meter track and field, and the most advanced and complete sports science laboratory in the country. It will also have the first purpose-built mountain bike skills track in the Philippines and a motocross track designed by one of the country’s top motocross athlete, Glenn Aguilar. And to complete its health and lifestyle amenities, Vermosa will have a 10,000-square meter retail center that will feature various sports shops as well as a wide array of healthy dining options. All these amenities will be managed by industry professionals and will be open to the public.

Megaworld to open two new malls in Uptown Bonifacio

Property giant Megaworld is set to open its full-scale flagship mall and a world-class dining mall with a gross floor area of around 110,000 square meters at its posh Uptown Bonifacio township in north Fort Bonifacio by last quarter of this year.

Uptown Place is a five-level upscale mall covering 85,000 square meter of retail and commercial spaces located at the heart of Uptown Bonifacio along 9th and 11th Avenues, 36th and 11th Drive.

It is set to redefine the lifestyle, retail, leisure and entertainment landscape of Fort Bonifacio with its superb and sophisticated store retail mix, – from the most recognized names in fashion to the most sought-after international luxury brands, including popular foreign labels that are coming to the country for the first time, eclectic selection of dining destinations, and world-class leisure and entertainment amenities.

Set to open before the end of the year, Uptown Place will have its own food hall featuring 11 distinctly new food concepts and offering international cuisines, state-of-the-art cinemas including Megaworld’s Signature Ultra Cinemas, a rooftop sky plaza overlooking Uptown Bonifacio skyline, a lifestyle tower, chapel, Las Vegas-style water feature at the mall’s ground level and al fresco dining areas.

“Finally, we are introducing our flagship mall with new, innovative concepts and offerings. From the retail mix to the mall facilities and amenities, Uptown Place is envisioned to be a major shopping, dining and leisure destination in Fort Bonifacio,” says Kevin L. Tan, first vice president and head of commercial, Megaworld.

Anchor tenants include Rustan’s Supermarket, Robinsons Appliances, Toys R Us, True Value, National Bookstore and Hamley’s, among others.

Just beside Uptown Place  will rise a unique “dining mall” called Uptown Parade, a 25,000 square meter strip that is set to become Manila’s newest dining hub with an eclectic mix of specialty restaurants serving international cuisines.

Also, opening before yearend, Uptown Parade will showcase new dining concepts and foreign brands that are coming to the Philippines for the first time. It will feature al fresco dining and tree-lined walkways. Its anchor tenant is the world-renowend The Palace Superclub, the biggest night club in Asia and the largest nightlife destination in the country today.

As part of Uptown Parade, The Palace Superclub is changing Manila’s nightlife scene with over 8,000 square meters of party space that can accommodate around 10,000 people. It now houses the Valkyrie Nightclub and The Palace Pool Club, the country’s first day club and pool club complete with cabanas, daybeds, pools, and music from both local and international DJs.

“We will bring together some of the world’s most interesting restaurant and dining brands as well as the country’s best party makers in one destination,” explains Tan.

Megaworld has spent P4-billion to build both Uptown Place and Uptown Parade.

Also rising in Uptown Bonifacio are luxury residential condominiums: One Uptown Residences, Uptown Ritz and Uptown Parksuites; modern office towers including the 20-storey Alliance Global Tower which will serve as the headquarters of the companies under the Alliance Global Group, Inc., open parks and leisure amenities.

A reliable safety and security system is also in place, that comes with a gated entrance, perimeter fence, fire exits, fire alarms and fire hose cabinets that line the corridors. Security guards also roam Zinnia’s complex 24/7.

Zinnia Tower’s vacation home lifestyle is uniquely nestled in a quiet spot in North EDSA, along the San Juan River. Easily accessible to Zinnia’s enclosed enclave are markets, schools, shopping malls, hospitals, major roads and transportation, including the MRT and LRT.
