SOL Republic is slowly making their presence felt in the local scene by releasing some of their products (like the DECK) in the country. As a follow up, the company launched two new supra-aural headphones, namely the Tracks and Tracks HD.
Some of the highlights of the SOL Republic Tracks and Tracks HD include a durable but lightweight headband (which BTW is called “Sound Track”) made of the company’s proprietary polymer called FlexTech, removable earcups which allows users to swap out the headbands with a different one, and an iDevice-friendly detachable audio with microphone and remote control (also works for few Android devices).
Apart from the price, the only other noticeable difference between these two headphones is the sound quality that each of them produce. Although, we haven’t extensively tested both of the headphones during the launching event, the Tracks HD seems to have a more well-rounded output compared to its slightly cheaper counterpart.
The SOL Republic Tracks and Tracks HD are available at Pismo Digital Lifestyle store located at the East Wing of Shangri-La Mall and is being retailed for Php7,000 and Php8,500 respectively.
