Instagram feeds can now be viewed on the browser

Ever since the launch of the online photo-sharing app, Instagram users are limited to the app when checking their feeds. In recent times, however, co-founder and CEO Kevin Systrom announced that feeds can now be accessed on the browser.

In a blog post, Systrom mentioned that it’s only logical for users to be able to access their feeds at any given time and on any device they chose to, including desktop browsers. Furthermore, other features of the service such as liking and engaging in a conversation via comments are also available on the web version of the service.

Unfortunately, the browser version of Instagram doesn’t support photo upload. “We do not offer the ability to upload from the web as Instagram is about producing photos on the go, in the real world, in realtime. On the other hand, Instagram for the web is focused on making the browsing experience a fast, simple and enjoyable one” explained by Mr Systrom.
