HTC J Butterfly specs:
5-inch Full HD Super LCD 3 @ 1920 x 1080 resolution, 441ppi
Corning Gorilla Glass
Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 2.45GHz quad-core processor
Adreno 330 GPU
2GB RAM
32GB internal storage (expandable via microSD)
13MP rear camera with secondary depth sensor
5MP front camera
4G LTE
Support for Dot View Case
Waterproof
Android 4.4 KitKat

As you may have notied, the One M8’s original 4MP Ultrapixel camera gets revamped to a 13MP sensor but with the same secondary camera for depth of field shots. HTC also opted to give up on its BoomSound speakers to make it waterproof, so the company is giving a free JBL in-ear headset along with the package.

We’re still waiting for the announcement if it will be available outside Japan. But with the availability of its lineup locally there’s a big chance we’ll be seeing this new Butterfly emerge out of its cocoon in no time.
