Ramada Manila Central Celebrates Chinese New Year with a bang!

coming from Santa Rosa Laguna, I traveled all the way to Manila then took a cab to Binondo to join the celebration. The traffic jam is terrible. So I am resigned to the fact that my only option get to Binondo from the LRT Carriedo Station is to walk.

Postcard: Iloilo City, The City of Love…… and Food!

i am currently in Iloilo city to judge the 9th edition of the Sinamba sa Paraw regatta, and of course to do another round of food tour here! My schedule’s quite full lately so I dont have much time to write. I still have lots of backlog to finish.

In the meantime, feast on this sinfully delicious Snickers Pie from Maridel’s. One of the popular cake houses in Iloilo City.

Pampanga Food Tour, and more than that!

I have been dying to do a Pampanga Food Tou on my own, or join a Tour Group. Then around 10:30PM Tuesday night, while I was busy working, Robbie called me on the phone, asking if I have anything to do last Wednesday. “Wala, naman. Bakit ano meron” I said.

We continued our conversation. Later he told me that there will be a Pampanga Food Tour the next day. I got so excited! Then a few minuts later I got another surprise. He texted “The camera crew of Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho” will be with you so thduring the whole tour.

Hmmmmm Okay…

Panaad sa Negros Festival 2013

It’s still four moths to go, but preparations are now underway as Negros Occidental will once again host the annual Panaad sa Negros Festival 2013.

panaad 00002

Panaad sa Negros is an annual Festival of the Province of Negros Occidental. Every summer the 19 towns and 12 cities of the province plus the Chartered City of Bacolod, converge at the Panaad Park and Stadium for a week full of singing, dancing, and of course, food fest! This is the time when the various towns and cities would showcase their best products and have them displayed (and most of the time, available for sale!) at their respective booths!

SE7EN: A Year end Blog Post

A few hours to go and we will bid goodbye to 2012. The year has been very exciting for me. Got so many blessings and more opportunities to travel and explore the beauty of the Philippines. I had ups and downs. But what is important is that we got to stand up once again.

Today we look back at some of the most memorable trips I have done in 2012. I actually started this series in Facebook, but will now compile everything here. So here it is…

SE7EN: A Series of Images that has Defined our year 2012. In no particular order:
