Samsung 105-inch Curved UHD TV, world’s largest

Samsung has announced over a dozen UHDTVs here at CES in Las Vegas including a total of six curved sets, as well as the world’s first and largest Curved UHD TV at 105 inches.

The 105-inch Curved UHD TV features an expansive display, curved design and is the largest TV ever with a movie-theater aspect ratio of 21 x 9. From 4K content, to Full HD and HD sources, everything will look better on this TV which boasts 11 million pixels (5120 x 2160 pixels).

The combination of the screen size and Samsung’s Auto Depth Enhancer technology brings depth to the picture and produces a life-like viewing experience.

On Samsung’s new U9000 series (the flagship 78-inch Curved UHDTV), viewers have the option of splitting the large-screen real estate into a total of four screens. Also, viewers can experience a 3D effect without glasses with the new Auto Depth Enhancer feature.

Smart TV performance is further enhanced with Samsung’s upgraded quad-core processor that performs at twice the speed of its predecessor.

Canon unveils the PowerShot N100

Now here’s something you don’t see often. If you think dual camera setup is only limited to smartphones and tablets, well think again because Canon has recently unveiled its new Point-and-Shoot camera called the PowerShot N100 which has a pair of snapper both on its front and rear end.

Canon N100

Right about same time last year, Canon debuted their first version of the miniscule digital camera and was followed by a “Facebook-Ready” version eight months later. And while its successor, the N100, is still relatively smaller than your average Point-And-Shoot camera, it has grown a bit to accommodate the additional buttons and a built-in that we’re missing on the first two models.

The N100 inherits the same 12MP “High-Sensitivity CMOS sensor” of its older sibling but it’s now paired up with a faster DIGIC 6 image processor. Its lens has a shorter reach (24-112mm) compared to the PowerShot N (24-224mm), but is an F-Stop and a half faster (f/1.8 vs f/3) at wide angle.

PowerShot N100

And now for the intriuiging part. Just above the N100’s flip touchscreen display is a rear-facing camera that takes advantage of Canon’s proprietary shooting modes called “Story Highlights” and “Dual-Capture” mode. This fancy software add-on allows users to simultaneously take a photo of themselves while they’re taking a snap of something/someone else.

Users can then include their Selfie on the picture they took and place it on any of the four corners of the picture they’ve taken with the main camera. Oh and it also works when their recording videos using the N100.

DIGIC 6 image Processor
ISO Range: 80 – 6400
Shutter speed range: 30 sec to 1/2000
