Asus Zenfone 3 spotted in leaked video, new press renders

Last week, unofficial press renders of the upcoming Asus ZenFone 3 have started popping out and showed us what the next generation ZenFone could look like. This time, Tech Configurations created new photos and video based on the leaked images to produce 3D renders which will give us a glimpse of how the handset will possibly appear.

Now, let’s take a better look of the handset and watch the video courtesy of Tech Configurations.

This is still unofficial and we can’t verify yet if these are accurate and in fact going to be part of their next generation ZenFone line-up.

What are your thoughts if this would be the design of the next Asus ZenFone 3? Share it with us in the comment section below.

Infographic: Smartphone Vendor History

We created this simple infographic to give you a quick glimpse of (almost) all of the global players in the smartphone industry.

While some companies such as Nokia started out over a century ago as a milling company in 1865, it was only in 2002 where they first introduced the modern day smartphone. Check out the infographic below to see who are the players and how long have they been making smartphones.

smartphone history super final

As you can see, the smartphone is still a fairly new device with just a little over a decade in development. It was only during the time after the Open Handset Alliance of 2007 where Android became the flagship mobile operating system and soon became the dominant OS.

A few brands did not survive, with Palm biting the dust even before the smartphone wars even erupted. Other big names struggled – the likes of Nokia and Motorola used to be giants of the industry — and soon died or sold off in parts.

The landscape is more diverse now with dozens of competing brands. But, who knows, the next decade could reveal another totally new picture.

OnePlus 3 Surface on AnTuTu Benchmark, Specs in Tow

OnePlus is already working on the new OnePlus flagship smartphone and has already been sighted on the AnTuTu Benchmark. Based on the screenshot result, OnePlus A300 will be the reference number of OnePlus 3 listed to run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. The chip under the hood is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 paired up with 4GB of RAM and Adreno TM 530 GPU. Screen size is not called out yet but will support a 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution. There’s also the 8MP front-facing  and 16MP rear-facing cameras plus a 32GB built-in storage.

One Plus 3 AnTuTu

This is still unofficial but we know this leak has a big possibility to be true. We just need to wait for OnePlus to officially unveil its new smartphone line-ups in Q2 this year.
