Singapore Airlines offers celebratory fares

Singapore Airlines continues its celebration of Singapore’s 50th year with celebratory fares and companion fares to various destinations in Australia and Europe from USD500, inclusive of baggage allowance, world gourmet cuisine, KrisWorld inflight entertainment system plus exceptional value deals in Singapore.

From 18 May to 1 June 2015, the Lion City’s flag carrier offers passengers companion fare at USD500 all-in to key destinations in Australia. Flyers may choose from Adelaide, Brisbane, Cairns, Darwin, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney. Companion fares starting from USD650 all-in are also available for flights to Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Istanbul, London, Manchester, Milan, Moscow, Munich, Paris and Zurich.

Celebratory fares for individual travel are available to the same destinations in Australia at only USD680 while selected European cities may be availed at USD990 only, except for Barcelona which is priced at USD920. For every purchase of celebratory or regular fare, a traveler is entitled to one companion fare purchase that is the same itinerary. The companion fares are exclusively available to MasterCard branded credit, debit or prepaid cards.

More options and perks are also available to those who wish to have their stopovers in Singapore. Aside from a complimentary SGD20 Changi Dollar Voucher that can be used for shopping, dining and lounging at Changi Airport, travelers may also redeem a complimentary Singapore Stopover Holiday (SSH) package worth SGD555. This deal includes overnight hotel accommodation, airport transfers, unlimited rides on SIA Hop-on tourist bus and admission to major Singapore attractions including Sentosa Island, Madame Tussauds, Singapore River Cruise and Gardens by the Bay. The SSH offer is applicable from May 18 to 31 2015 with stop-over period from May 16 to June 30 2015.

Xiaomi outs new 10,000mAh Mi Power Bank

Xiaomi expands its power bank offering with the announcement of the new 10,000mAh Mi Power Bank.

The 10,000mAh Mi Power Bank is slimmer and smaller (in capacity) compared to the 10,400mAh power bank. In Xiaomi’s Chinese website, the 10,000mAh replaces the 10,400mAh offering. Their current Mi Power Bank lineup now only includes the 16,000mAh, 10,000mAh, and 5,000mAh capacities.

The 10,000mAh Mi Power Bank has a price tag of 69 Yuan or almost Php500. It is available in China in red, gold, and silver colors.
