New Park Triangle breaks ground

New Park Triangle project officially breaks ground, expanding the BGC community’s access to retail and lifestyle choices.

All roads led to Bonifacio Global City last February 26 as the retail and mixed-use segment of Ayala Land’s latest development, Park Triangle, broke ground in Taguig.

The triangular lot, aptly called Park Triangle, is intended to seamlessly bring the cluster of developments in the vicinity together to reflect the kind of place BGC has set itself out to do. On one side will be the first and only Kidzania in the country, scheduled to open this summer, where children can recreate and experience jobs firsthand. On top will be a multi-purpose event venue to cater to the BGC community’s growing needs.

Seamlessly blending Park Triangle Residences and Park Triangle Corporate Center is the four-level retail podium that will fill the continuous demand for that live, work and shop lifestyle of BGC. Dubbed as “The preferred center for urban home and lifestyle choices”, Ayala Malls Park Triangle will house an array of premium retail and specialty food concepts alongside a supermarket, top global fashion brands and retail power centers targeted to cater to BGC’s multi-faceted community.

Battle of Sub-7K Smartphone: Alcatel Flash Plus vs Huawei Honor 4C

With the recent arrival of the Huawei Honor 4C in the country, we thought of pitting it against the Alcatel Flash Plus to see which one is the better sub-Php7K smartphone.

With the exclusion of pixel density of its screen, the Alcatel OneTouch Flash Plus dominates the Honor 4C in specs department. The former has bigger screen with Dragontrail Glass protection, twice the amount of internal storage, better graphics processing unit (Mali-T760 vs Mali-450) support for dual-LTE and has a more sizeable 3,500mAh battery.

If there’s one thing that’s going for the Huawei Honor 4C, it has to be its design. It’s got a more refined aesthetics than the Flash Plus. But despite having a smaller screen and more modest battery pack, Huawei’s new mid-range smartphone oddly weighs more than the OneTouch Flash Plus, and it’s slightly thicker too at 8.8mm.

Lastly, we have the pricing. The Alcatel OneTouch Flash Plus is Php500 cheaper than the Huawei Honor 4C at Php6,490. The latter though is now available locally. Based on this brief comparison, I think we can all agree that the Alcatel Flash Plus takes the cake for offering better feature set with cheaper price.
