Starmobile has announced that its Android smartphone that packs a 5-inch display, quad-core CPU, and 8 megapixel UltraPixel camera, the Up Snap, is now available for under Php6K.

Oppo has announed the Mirror 3 – an Android smartphone that features a 4.7-inch HD display, 64-bit Snapdragon 410 CPU, and a price tag that sits at under $300.

In addition to the sub-Php4K Lumia 435, Microsoft also announced the Lumia 532 that carries better-spec’d internals while also performing on a Windows 8.1 platform.

Lumia 435 is the cheapest Lumia at sub-Php4K

Microsoft today announces the Lumia 435 which is the most affordable Windows Phone to date. It runs on Windows 8.1, has a more capable RAM than the previous models in its class, and has expandable memory up to 128GB.

Samsung Z1 goes official, sub-$100 Tizen smartphone

Korean electronics giant Samsung officially unveiled the Z1, a budget-friendly smartphone with their own Tizen operating system running out of the box.

Available in red, black, or white colors, the Z1 is built with Antivirus protection and its own Ultra Power Saving mode out of the box. Samsung also claims that the Tizen OS is lightweight and won’t bog down the system, allowing for a more seamless experience.
