YouTube live streaming feature comes to mobile

YouTube has announced that its live streaming feature is coming to mobile, allowing users to broadcast live straight from their smartphones.

The feature will be baked right into the core of the YouTube mobile app. All the user needs to do is hit the red capture button, take or select a photo as a thumbnail, and broadcast live to fans and chat with them as well. Users will also be able to search for live broadcasts which can be found on recommendations and playlists.

The new feature is currently available to select creators such as The Young Turks, AIB, Platica Polinesia, SacconeJolys, and Alex Wassabi at VidCon, but will rollout more widely soon.
