Samsung Galaxy S4 scored 11k on Quarant Benchmark

We managed to get one round of benchmarks for the Samsung Galaxy S4 and the results of Quadrant benchmark were very impressive, beating any other handset we’ve tested before by a mile.

Because we had a limited time with the device and connection (both WiFi and 4G) were not good at the venue, we only managed to finish only the Quadrant Benchmark.

Samsung reps warned us that the unit we were testing wasn’t a pre-production version so some of the features and functions might not be working pretty well. They requested that we don’t continue taking at this time so we weren’t able to do the Antutu and NenaMark 2 tests.

In any case, an 11,239 score on Quadrant is the highest we’ve seen on any smartphone or tablet (beating scores we’ve seen on the Optimus G, Xperia Z, Padfone 2 and HTC Butterfly which were all hovering at 8k on Quadrant) we ever tested.

The S4 variant that we tested was probably the Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 (APQ8064T) version. We weren’t able to see the one with the Exynos 5 Octa.
