Fresh graduates of IT-related courses are in for a great headstart in their career as Jobstreet hails them as the top pay-earners in their recently-released Fresh Grads salary report.

According to data obtained by the online classifieds firm, Fresh IT graduates get an average pay of around Php22K on their first year of service in work, with an average increase of 0.3% compared to last year. These are followed by those from the Statistics, Legal, Healthcare services, and Journalism sectors.

BPOs, Call Centers, and IT-related firms still hold the most number of key positions made available for fresh millennial graduates, which accounts for almost 150K jobs, a 23% increase from last year. Telecommunication positions also surged, which now peaks at 2.7K.

JobStreet reveals Top 10 Companies of 2015

JobStreet has revealed the Top 10 Companies of 2015, showing a list of companies that job hunters want to work for.

Below is the roundup of companies:

1. San Miguel Corporation
2. Nestle Philippines
3. Accenture
4. Shell Philippines
5. Procter & Gamble Philippines
6. SM Investments Corporation
7. ABS-CBN Corporation
8. Coca-Cola FEMSA Philippines
10. Unilever Philippines

According to JobStreet, this year’s survey show that benefits and incentives, health insurance, and training and development as primary reasons why candidates want to work in these companies aside from salary. In addition, younger employees and managers also prefer companies that have a solid standing and reputation.
