Ayala Land wins bid for ITS South Project

Ayala Land recently won the bid for the Integrated Transport System Project – South Terminal (“ITS South Project”), conducted by the Department of Transportation and Communication (DOTC). ALI will be awarded with a 35-year concession agreement to build and operate the ITS South Project and will likewise have the right to develop and operate commercial leasing facilities on the same 5.57-hectare former Food Terminal Inc. property on which the future transport terminal will be built.

The site of the ITS South Project is right next to ARCA South, where ALI is developing an integrated mixed-use estate. It is estimated that up to 4,000 buses and 160,000 passengers will pass through the ITS South Project from SLEX everyday. Construction will begin by May 2016 and is expected to be completed and ready for operation by October 2017.

FBDC and PSE sign contract for new headquarters at BGC

Fort Bonifacio Development Corporation (FBDC) and the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) signed a Contract to Sell to formalize PSE’s acquisition of office space for its new headquarters and unified trading floor at Bonifacio Global City (BGC).

The PSE headquarters will be housed in a 22-storey premium office tower at One Bonifacio High Street slated for completion in 2016. The triple A tower, featuring a 100% glass facade and a high-ceilinged entrance lobby, is an addition to Ayala Land Offices’ portfolio of developments in BGC, Makati, Quezon City, and Cebu.

“With the positive economic outlook in our country today, Ayala Land continues to fulfill the need for office spaces and cater to the requirements of leading companies. Guided by our core values and attuned to the unique needs of growing local and multinational companies, we provide expert real estate office solutions through our Ayala Land Offices,” shared Ayala Land Assistant Vice President Carol Mills. “We are elated and proud that PSE has chosen BGC as the site of their new headquarters,” added FBDC Director Edgardo M. Cruz, Jr.

ALI Inks New Partnership for Circuit Makati

Ayala Land marked another milestone  as it signed a partnership with Power Mac Center, bringing Circuit Makati closer to its vision of becoming the entertainment district of Makati.

The partnership sees the rise of the Power Mac Center Spotlight–a block box theater designed to deliver fresh and innovative performance for yuppies and families alike.

In 2011, Ayala Land embarked on the ‘Make It Happen, Make It Makati’ campaign to strengthen the city’s reputation, not just as a business center, but also as a destination for lifestyle, entertainment, and culture,” begins Mel Ignacio, Ayala Land VP and Head of Makati Project Development. “Since then, we have been fortunate enough to have met partners that share this vision, allowing us to continue bringing this goal to fruition.”

Part of this vision involves Ayala Land investing P60 billion into Circuit Makati to establish its commitment in ensuring Makati’s continued relevance and competitiveness.

“We have established the Makati Central Business District as a business hub, complemented by Ayala Triangle Gardens as an urban oasis, and Ayala Center as a cosmopolitan lifestyle destination. This partnership takes us a step closer towards the fulfillment of Circuit Makati as an entertainment destination suited to the whole family,” Ignacio adds.

The Power Mac Center Spotlight will be located at the third level of Circuit Lane, which is a two-storey interactive retail strip, with a water feature spanning its middle, offering Power Mac Center Spotlight audiences dining and retail options. This 400 square meter performance venue will be home to both performance and non-performance events, such as corporate launches and private events.

“Throughout the years, Power Mac Center has proven to be a lifestyle brand that has a passion for the arts. From its numerous in-store activities involving digital design and music performances, to its creative ventures with meaningful partnerships with various establishments, and a long-standing affiliation with Ayala Museum, Power Mac Center sees potential in bringing new and diverse opportunities that promote, not only the arts, but Filipino talent as well,” says Power Mac Center CEO, Lawrence Sison.

With a vision of being the heart of Makati’s entertainment district, this project combines residential, retail, business, and leisure to create a dynamic and vibrant theatre experience. Launching in conjunction with Circuit Lane, the Power Mac Center Spotlight is set to raise its curtains this year in September, bringing fresh and innovative performances to the city.

New Park Triangle breaks ground

New Park Triangle project officially breaks ground, expanding the BGC community’s access to retail and lifestyle choices.

All roads led to Bonifacio Global City last February 26 as the retail and mixed-use segment of Ayala Land’s latest development, Park Triangle, broke ground in Taguig.

The triangular lot, aptly called Park Triangle, is intended to seamlessly bring the cluster of developments in the vicinity together to reflect the kind of place BGC has set itself out to do. On one side will be the first and only Kidzania in the country, scheduled to open this summer, where children can recreate and experience jobs firsthand. On top will be a multi-purpose event venue to cater to the BGC community’s growing needs.

Seamlessly blending Park Triangle Residences and Park Triangle Corporate Center is the four-level retail podium that will fill the continuous demand for that live, work and shop lifestyle of BGC. Dubbed as “The preferred center for urban home and lifestyle choices”, Ayala Malls Park Triangle will house an array of premium retail and specialty food concepts alongside a supermarket, top global fashion brands and retail power centers targeted to cater to BGC’s multi-faceted community.
