Apple intros New Macbook in gold, silver, space gray

The lightest Mac ever — Apple introduces the new Macbook Air in different colors: gold, silver and space gray.

At 12 inches, the display is now at 2,304×1,440 pixels (Retina Display).

It only weighs 2.0 lbs (less than 1kg). Just 13.1mm thin.

The new Macbook is powered by a super efficient Intel Core M processor. Apple claims a battery life of up to 10 hours (video playback).

The new Macbook also comes with a unified port — this new connectivity standard gives you power, USB data transfer, DisplayPort, HDMI, and VGA capabilities.

The price starts at $1,299 but the one with the Intel Core M 1.2GHz dual-core, Intel HD Graphics 5300, 8GB of RAM and 512GB SSD will sell for $1,599.

They should be available by April 10.

Mac users complain about Wi-Fi issues on OS X Yosemite

Have you upgraded your Mac to OS X Yosemite yet? If you haven’t already, then you might to hold off that plan because a lot of users are complaining about a bug/glitch on the latest version of the OS which causes the Wi-Fi to either disconnect every so often or won’t connect to a wireless network at all.

Meanwhile, some users who were able to connect to their Wi-Fi network even after upgrading to OS X Yosemite are faced with unstable and, most of the time, unusable internet connection on their Mac.

Since Apple has not issued any fix or even some sort of acknowledgement about the issue, affected Mac users have resorted to unofficial fixes found on various Mac-related forums.

Some users have reported that these unofficial fixes got the job done, while most users are still battling the Wi-Fi issues that was caused by the new version of the OS.
