Anker Powerbanks land, starts at Php2,450

The popular Anker line of powerbanks have just officially landed in the Philippines with power capacities of up to 20,000mAh.

I’ve had an Anker powerbank earlier this year, shipped from Amazon and it’s been my primary device for charging my daily smarpthone and devices (has a 15,000mAh capacity).

The ones we got from Spitze Trading are the second generation models of the Anker powerbanks. They look much better than the one I got earlier this year.

Anker 2nd Gen. Astro2 6,000mAh: Php2,450
Anker 2nd Gen. Astro2 9,000mAh: Php2,850
Anker 2nd Gen. Astro2 12,000mAh: Php3,450
Anker 2nd Gen. Astro2 20,000mAh: Php5,200

They also got an Anker 40w-5 Port USB Family-Sized Desktop Charger which retails for Php1,750. This allows you to charge up to 5 devices all at the same time from one power socket.

The powerbanks have a lifecycle of about 500+ recharges and comes with smart output so it adjusts the charging power up to 2.4A depending on what your device needs. Maximum charging output is 4A when you combine the two USB ports. The 6,000mAh powerbank has one charging port, the 9,000mAH powerbank has 2 while the 12,000mAh model has 3 charging ports.

The intelligent charging mechanism means you don’t have to choose if you want to plug your smartphone to the 1A or the 2A port since it will auto-detect it. The power indicator is represented in a circular LED light with granularity of 10 segments so you see the charge at each 10% level.

These Anker powerbanks are available in 5th Avenue, iStudio, Technoholics, Planet Gadget, Tech Shop, Lazada and soon with Power Mac.

We’ll be raffling off some of these units to readers later this week (the 9,000mAh powerbank and the 5-port USB desktop charger so watch out for them here).
