Would it still be possible?

Na makahanap ka ng True Friend sa panahong ito...communication na thru cyber, text message...speed dating...fastfood..para kasing ang hirap humanap ng tunay na kaibigan nowadays.

Dati madali lang dahil di pa ganong busy. Ilang kaibigan na rin ba naipon ko. Yun nga lang unti unting nabawasan kasi yung iba nag abroad, nagkaron ng sariling family, tapos yung ilan kinuha na ng Lord..

Akala ko pag nag asawa na ko di na ko maghahanap ng kaibigan. I admit, my husband can be an "all in one" person..he acts like my mom does (pinagluluto niya ko), as a brother, lover, friend, barkada..pero iba pa rin yung may kaibigan ka.

Kaya nga, nahihiya man ako sa Lord, kasi baka sabihin Niya pabagu bago ako ng isip, im looking for friends na totoo, gaya ng mga nakatagpo ko before

Pangasinan Day, anyone?

There has been a raging debate over Aksyon Radyo Pangasinan on the need to have a Pangasinan Day. Since time immemorial, Pangasinenses had not had a real Pangasinan Day celebration.

A listener even phoned in to say that what he thought as Pangasinan Day was the Pistay Dayat.

Others said that what they thought as Pangasinan Day was the provincial non-working holiday every Nov. 13. Of course, Nov. 13 is Speaker Eugenio Perez Day. Historian Rosario Mendoza Cortez said Pangasinan became an alcaldia mayor in 1580.

An article in the Wikipedia said Pangasinan was declared a province in 1611. But to date, no official documents yet have been found that would indicate the exact date. Lawyer Gonzalo Duque has suggested that the provincial government should declare a temporaray date as Pangasinan Day until such time that the founding day of the province is finally established.

Local historian Resty Basa agrees. What do you think?  

PNP Region 8 Online

The   Philippine National Police, Region 8 has launched their website to move the PNP forward in protecting the community through a truthful service.

Their Vision:
The presence of professional, dynamic and motivated PNP personnel, the presence of resources a collaborative partnership with stakeholders from the community and the presence of responsive, empowered and engaged citizenry who proactively take part in the fight against criminality to ensure a stable and peaceful community.

Few of the website contents are News Releases, Crime Maps, Pictorials/Activities Wanted Persons and Organizational Chart with information to other police stations in Samar, Biliran, LEyte and Ormoc.
