Finally, I was able to see Christine Gambito in person. She’s the one behind HappySlip. She’s also the one behind in one of my favorite music videos in YouTube. If you haven’t watched that one, you should. It’s brilliant and hilarious at the same time. 
I did not win in the raffle, I was actually hoping for the cute and cuddly teddy bear. Congratulations to Noemi.

Good news for those who will not be able to make it later. I just got an email from Yehey’s Marketing Manager, Elaine Uy that they will be holding another Happy Slip event this Friday. The best part is, no pre-registration is required.
Due to insistent public demand, Happy Slip in cooperation with Yehey.com will hold another event entitled Happy Slip Fans’ Day this coming February 8, 2008, Friday at Mag:net Café, Bonifacio High Street from 1:00PM – 4:00PM. No pre-registration is required.

On our last day in Boracay, we attended the Ati-atihan de Boracay. Anton arrived at the plaza ahead of us. Anyway, it’s really unusual to see a parade participant holding a centipede and a snake as well. There are some also that were really creative with their costumes.
Then, me, Eric, Eugene and Ferdz had a photo op at Willy’s Rock. We were able to climb up the stairs since it was low tide. Since we cannot find the others I walked back to Microtel with Eric and Ferdz. I took a picture of this small boat which was parked in the beach.
It would have been better if it was not cloudy though. I was also able to take a dip in the beach during our last day in Boracay which I haven’t done since my Puerto Galera trip with my former officemates.
