Malacanang declares August 30 a Holiday to mark the End of Ramadan (Eidl Fit’r)

Malacanang Palaca has just announced that August 30 will be declared a special NON WORKING Holiday to mark the end of Ramadan, or the celebration of Eidl Fit’r. Ramadan is the holy month for our Muslim brothers and the end of it marks the celebration of Eidl Fit’r.

Prior to this, August 29 is also a a regular holiday in the Philippines as the nation observes the National
Heroes Day.

August 21 is also a Special Non Working Holiday in the observance of Ninoy Aquino Day
