NVidia Starts Seeding GeForce 347.09 WHQL Driver

Lazada Philippines

The holiday season is in full-swing and NVidia is giving PC gamers a small gift by making the new GeForce 347.09 WHQL driver available for download. But there’s a catch…

GeForce WHQL

So what can you expect from the new driver? Truth be told, not a whole lot. Apart from the typical addition of new titles to the list of supported games for 3D Compatibility Mode and 3D Vision Profiles (seen below), this driver update is more of an incremental than a major improvement over the previous release.

NVidia WHQL

The GeForce 347.09 WHQL driver will also provide NVidia Game Ready driver for some of the games listed above including Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes (which was released just last week), and Elite: Dangerous.

Now the bad news; NVidia stated that laptop users with GTX 970M and 980M SLI might want to hold off their plans of upgrading to the latest driver as it will cause black screen when uninstalled. However, if they feel the need to do so, NVidia said that they need to disable the SLI first before they uninstall the driver.

More information about the driver can be found on this link. Conversely, the new NVidia GeForce 347.09 WHQL Driver can downloaded from this link.
