LG G4 press renders leak; touts leather back cover

We are only a few days away from what would be the global launch of LG‘s newest flagship, but a major leak has just happened in South Korea, where alleged press renders for the G4 has leaked and is now rounding up in cyberspace.

According to photos from LG’s G4 microsite, this new super smartphone from the Korean tech conglomerate will feature leather back covers along with metallic black, silk white, shine gold, burgundy red and moon violet colors.

As for the hardware, the G4 is said to be equipped with a hexa-core Snapdragon 808 and a 5.5-inch “Quantum” display with a Quad HD resolution. What might be odd about the new release is that it would come with Android 4.4.2 KitKat installed on board, says the tipsters from South Korea, which might be a little outdated since most flagships are now jumping on the Lollipop bandwagon.

LG G3 Field Test

LG one of the leading Korean phone manufacturers has launched its flagship phone model theLG G3. And just before Christmas I was lucky enough to got hold of the phone to do a review and test its capabilities.

The new LG G3 has sleek thin body, slightly curved to fit in the palm of your hands.

Performance-wise i have no qualms in using this phone. In fact i brought the phone with me during my recent travels especially in Tangub City and during the Lakbay Norte Media Tour.

Its rear camera is very clear. It’s always a joy in capturing sharp images. Shooting at night time wont be a hassle too, as I have experienced shooting during the Christmas Symbols Festival in Tangub City. The images are still brilliant and of topnotch quality. Its HD video is also good. The audio is crisp and the video is crystal clear.

More than just the camera and video functions what I also like about the LG G3 phone is that it has the capability to receive LTE or 4G data signal. This means browsing the Internet would be a breeze. The phone unit also has a double tap screen functionality that lets you unlock your mobile phone. This is probably one of the features that i love so much.

It’s thin lightweight and probably the next phone that I’ll be purchasing. The LG G3 is available in LG stores as well as in its authorized distributors nationwide.

LG intros largest TV, a 98-inch 4K UHD TV

The largest 4K TV in the country is brought in by LG Philippines. This 98-inch UHD TV is the only one currently available but you can place an order for Php1.5 million a pop.

The LG 98-inch 4K ULTRA HD TV, model 98UB980T, makes its first appearance this December in the newly-opened Abenson store in Bonifacio Global City. With it’s own built-in stand, the TV is almost as tall as a regular person.

The TV is comes with a 5.2-channel 120-watt sliding speakers designed by Harmon-Kardon.

LG has optimized the webOS platform for this TV which features live TV programs, VOD, 3D content, apps, recommended content all from the LG Store, the one-stop location for all available entertainment content.
