LG G2 Mini now available for Php13,990

Fresh from LG’s launch is the G2 Mini where the company has announced its local pricing. This device aims to follow the success of its big brother, the LG G2, in a smaller form factor and simpler but decent specs.

LG G2 Mini unveiled ahead of MWC 2014

Most flagship phones nowadays have smaller versions of themselves and LG is following suit. The LG G2 Mini comes with the company’s signature rear buttons, a 4.7-inch qHD display, a Snapdragon 400 or a Tegra 4i CPU and Android 4.4 KitKat with LG’s skinning.

Quite obviously, a lot of downgrades can be seen here when compared to the original G2, but that’s nothing new as a lot of mini phones also have downsized specs. The camera is now at 8 megapixels, the internal memory starts at 8GB and the RAM is now at only 1GB. Other details include 4G, a micro SD card slot and a removable 2,440mAh battery.

The phone is believed to be making an appearance on MWC soon as LG has been teasing - February 24, 2014. A lot of details are yet to be announced such as the price, so stay tuned for more details and coverage!
