LG rolls out Android Lollipop for G Pad tablets

LG recently announced that it has started rolling out their Android 5.0 Lollipop upgrade for their G Pad series of tablets.

The LG G Pad slates to receive Android 5.0 Lollipop are the following: G Pad 7.0, G Pad 8.0, G Pad 8.3, and G Pad 10.1.

The upgrade is already available for the devices in South Korea and is expected to arrive in other markets soon.

LG announces three new G Pad tablet models

LG Electronics has announced its latest G Pad tablets sporting displays ranging from 7-inches to 10-inches – the G Pad 7.0, G Pad 8.0, and the G Pad 10.1.

Highlights of LG’s new G Pad Series tablets:

* G Pad 7.0 : Designed to be held in one hand, LG’s smallest tablet is a on-the-go entertainment hub that delivers both portability and power.
* G Pad 8.0 : With its 8-inch display, LG’s mid-sized tablet offers an immersive multimedia experience and smooth multitasking.
* G Pad 10.1 : With the largest display and battery, LG’s 10.1-inch tablet provides endless hours of entertainment and fun.

In addition, the new G Pad series come with LG’s proprietary UX features such as QPair 2.0 and Knock Code.

Details about the new G Pad tablets like specs and availability will be made available once they’re unveiled at the MedPI 2014 IT/Tech trade show in Monaco from May 13-16.
