Lenovo ThinkPad 8 now available in online store

Lenovo’s 8-inch Windows 8 slate, the ThinkPad 8, was just unveiled earlier this month but it is now available on their online store for purchase.

To give you a recap, the ThinkPad 8 features an 8.3-inch WUXGA (1920×1200) display at 273ppi, an Intel Atom Z3770 Processor, 2GB DDR3 RAM, and up to 7.2 hours battery life.

The base model will cost you $429 which includes Windows 8.1 32-bit, 64GB eMMC internal storage, and free Office Home and Student 2013. You can bump it up to Windows 8.1 Pro 32-bit for +$50, 128GB eMMC internal storage +$140, and a Smart Cover for +$35.

Lenovo ThinkPad 8, full HD Windows 8.1 tablet for $399

Lenovo has just unveiled its latest sub-10-inch Windows 8.1 tablet that packs a full HD resolution, a quad-core Atom CPU, and a price tag that is just under $400 – the ThinkPad 8.

The Lenovo ThinkPad 8 sports a 8.3-inch display with Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080) or equal to 265ppi, a microHDMI port, microUSB 3.0, 8 megapixel rear shooter, 32GB, 64GB, 128GB storage variants, and option for LTE.

Powering the device is a 2.4GHz quad-core Intel Atom CPU, 2GB of RAM, an 8-hour battery, and Windows 8.1 OS. All of that are housed in an aluminum body that is 8.8mm thick and weighs in at 0.92 pounds.

Prices start at $399 and is slated to launch in the US later this month.
