A tablet with almost the same specs as the Nexus 7 but at a cheaper price? That’s what Lenovo is trying to achieve with the Tab S8.

Has an 8-inch full HD (1920×1080 pixels) display? Check. Intel Atom Z3745 1.3GHz quad-core processor. Check. Android 4.4 Kitkat. Check!

The Lenovo Tab S8 also comes with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage with optional LTE connectivity in some select markets.

Lenovo says they will price the Tab S8 for just $199 (before taxes and subsidies). Pretty much a good deal for us.

Lenovo launches Tab S8 with Intel quad-core CPU

The 8-inch Lenovo Tab S8 is now official and it runs on Intel’s 64-bit processor. This is the first time an Android tablet from Lenovo carries Intel inside (pun intended) so it’s something to be proud of for the team. Read more about its specs after the break.
