The ‘ber months are here before we know it and it’s the bazaar season folks!
At about this same time last year, I wrote about how presidential sister Kris Aquino – the Queen of All Media – sold her Chanel bags and other designer stuff in a charity bazaar that was meant to benefit Gawad Kalinga, a non-profit that builds houses for the poor.
This year, as announced in her social networks, Kris is doing a repeat of the bazaar thing again.Her fans and lovers of pre-owned celebrity items can mark these dates (okay, it begins tomorrow already): October 11, 12 & 13 , 12 noon to midnight at the Metrotent, Metrowalk Plaza, along Meralco Avenue in Ortigas Center Pasig City. (Last year’s was held at the ABS-CBN Compound in Quezon City.
There’s no mention whether the annual sale will benefit a charity organization though.
Kris put Star Cinema creative director Roxy Liquigan in charge of organizing the bazaar. And here are some of the Krissy’s designer shoes for sale that Roxy put up on Twitter:
Some YSL’s (originally retailing at $500 to $1000). Kris is a Size 7.
There will also be some Jimmy Choo’s and Loubutins -
Other designers mentioned by Roxy are Chanel, Celine and Valentino.
The items are either brand new, used once or hardly used. And aside from the shoes, there will also be a sale of her bags and clothes.
Unfortunately, the prices won’t be known until the day itself. But feedback from a friend who visited the bazaar last year said the prices were still on the high side, so arrive with extra money in your wallet if you really want what you fancy
