Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus gets Jellybean update

SamMobile reports that Samsung has recently rolled out the Jelly bean update (Android 4.1.2) for the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus which began in Austria.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has certainly come a long way from having preinstalled with Android Honeycomb when it first made its debut back in 2011. With this update, the 7-inch tablet will benefit from all the nifty optimizations that Jelly bean has to offer including Project Butter implementation and TouchWiz UX.

The announcement didn’t state when the update will reach our shore, so it’s better to expect the worse. However, if you’re knowledgeable in flashing ROMs you’d be able to flash the OS to your slate through Odin and you’d find a handful of guides on the web on how to do it.
