2015 Honda Civic
In continuously providing up to date products, HCPI now offers the 2015 Honda Civic in the Philippine market. Exuding the distinctive character that has carved the winning heritage of the Civic badge, the 2015 Civic is reinforced by its major characteristics: sporty design, advanced features in fuel economy, entertainment and safety; and dynamic driving and handling.
The 2015 Civic is available in six variants with either a 2.0 or 1.8 liter engine displacement mated to a 5-speed automatic transmission. Manual Transmission will now be exclusively available to the 1.8 S Civic.
Inside the 2015 Civic is a high-tech two-tiered dashboard carefully crafted for interactive dialogue between the Civic and the driver resulting to excellent ergonomics. Select variants of the 2015 Civic are now equipped with Smart Entry & Push Start System. That complements its other advance features such as 7-inch touch screen display audio with hands-free telephone (HFT) and audio streaming via Bluetooth connectivity. The touch screen display also functions as the screen for the multi-view reverse camera which is available in select variants of the 2015 Civic. Furthermore, different ports such as auxiliary, 2 USB slots, and an HDMI port are made available for more advanced in-car entertainment. Using the HDMI port allows users to connect and mirror their smart phone on the touch screen display audio while the vehicle is in full stop.
Multi-functional steering controls are also available that allow the driver operate the Civic’s intelligent Multi Information Display (i-MID) which shows information such as the fuel consumption and other vehicle settings. With your hands steady on the steering wheel, experience the thrill of more spirited driving at your fingertips with the Civic’s race-inspired and fun-to-use paddle shift technology which delivers the superb driving pleasure of a manual transmission. Should the driver opt for a more relaxed driving pace on long highway stretches, select variants of the 2015 Civic are equipped with cruise control.
Complementing the 2015 Civic’s driving performance is a comprehensive methodology on vehicle safety. As standard, it is equipped with driver and passenger SRS airbags and anti-lock braking system (ABS) with electronic brake-force distribution (EBD). The 2.0 liter variants have additional safety features such as side airbags, side curtain airbags, vehicle stability assist (VSA), hill start assist (HSA), child seat anchors, and seat belt reminder for the front passenger, in addition to that of the driver. Furthermore, the Civic has also been awarded Best Child Occupant Protection in the first Asean NCAP Grand Prix 2014 held in Malaysia.
