HTC Vive VR headset brings Virtual Reality to your homes

Along with the One M9 and the Grip, Taiwanese tech company HTC also partnered with Valve to create the Vive VR headset, touting a new virutal reality experience.

HTCVive

Touted as the most immersive experience of any VR package, the Vive comes with a Full Room Scale 360 Degree Solution with Tracked Controllers that lets you you get up, walk around and explore your virtual space, inspect objects from every angle and truly interact with your surroundings.

It even features high-quality graphics, 90-frames-per-second video and touted to have incredible audio fidelity. It also has its own wireless VR controllers, coming in pairs, that are simple and intuitive to use and can be used for a wide range of VR experiences.

The Vive Developer Kit, now in Beta, has some pretty cool game developers on board, including Vertigo Games, Bossa, Barry–Fireproof, Dovetail Games, Wemo Labs, Google, Steel Wool Games and Owlchemy.

Keen to get your hands on this one? The HTC Vive Developer Edition will be launched to content and game creators by Spring, and the consumer edition will be available by the end of 2015.
