In a simultaneous event in New York and UK, HTC made the formal announcement of their new handset — the HTC One.
The HTC One packs the same screen size as its predecessor, the HTC One X at 4.7 inches. However, it packs a full HD 1080p resolution like the Butterfly and more. It is all enclosed in an all-aluminum casing and has dual stereo speakers on the front.
The usual stuff are with the device (see specs below), but there are more things to highlight. First is the UltraPixel technology HTC introduces that will allow more light capture at a 4 megapixel resolution. Moreover, it features HTC Zoe which will create 3-second animated shorts with your camera.
HTC Boomsound is also expected to improve the sound experience along with the microphone, the front stereo speakers and Beats Audio. The rest of the story is software, HTC Sense 5.0 which seems to take a hint from Windows Phone and some other unique elements (BlinkFeed, Sense TV, etc.).
