HTC One Max with 5.9-inch display officially announced

HTC’s Android “phablet” is officially out, carrying a 5.9-inch display, aluminum body, 4 megapixel UltraPixel camera, and a fingerprint scanner. Meet the HTC One max.

We’ve been seeing tons of leaks about the HTC One max for quite a while now that the only thing left to do is wait for the proper announcement. Now that it has been officially unveiled, let’s find out what it has to offer by taking a look at the spec sheet below.

As you can see, the HTC One max is almost similar to the HTC One in terms of design and hardware. Aside from having a larger display, the One max has a removable back cover to let you access the SIM and microSD slots, and of course, the fingerprint scanner.

The HTC One max is a really gorgeous device but we’re wondering how it plans to break through the standards set by the Snapdragon 800-powered Sony Xperia Z Ultra and the Samsung Galaxy Note 3.

As for information about pricing and international availability, these are yet to be announced.
