HP announces OMEN gaming notebook

HP has announced its new gaming notebook PC that is powered by a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 860M GPU and 4th-Gen Intel Core i7 quad-core processor – the Omen.

The HP Omen is a portable gaming powerhouse which features a 15.6-inch Full HD capacitive touchscreen display, NVIDIA GeForce graphics, 4th-Gen Intel Core i7 CPU, game optimized thermals, dedicated gaming keys, and Solid-State Drive.

HP also introduced the HP Omen Gaming Mouse X9000 which features 8200DPI laser tracking and eight levels of in-game sensitivity adjustment with a starting price of $59.99.

The HP Omen is now available for order in the U.S. starting at $1,499.99 for the NVIDIA GTX860M 2GB GDDR5, Intel Core i7 Quad Core Processor, 8GB DDR3 system memory, and 128GB SSD configuration.
