LG unveils Tone Infinim Bluetooth headset

LG has teamed up with Harman-Kardon to come up with their new wireless headset dubbed as the LG Tone Infinim (HBS-900).

The Tone Infinim dons a similar design as its predecessor, the LG Tone (HBS-700), albeit less sporty and more sophisticated. It also inherits the retractable wire scheme, allowing to users to hang the band on their neck and extend the cable when they’re using it.

LG claims that although the HBS-900 will work on any Android device, it’s best suited for use with upcoming LG G3 because they’ve added an extra feature called Answer Me+ which automatically terminates the connection between the headset and smartphone when it detects that the handset is placed on the users ear to take a call.

Moreover, the LG Tone Infinim is touted to provide up to 17 hours’ worth of talk time and 14 hours of play time on a single full charge. This is a huge improvement over the previous model which can only last for 10 hours.

LG Tone Infinim key specs:

• Bluetooth Chip: CSR8645
• Bluetooth Version: 3.0
• Bluetooth Profile: A2DP, AVRCP, HFP, HSP
• Talk/Play Time: 17 hours/14 hours
• Standby Time: 550 hours
• Battery: 220mAh
• Microphone: Single MEMS
• Color: Silver (other colors to be announced later)
• Connector: Micro USB

The new LG Tone Infinim is slated to hit the shelves starting next month in “major markets around the world”, we’re not sure though if our country is included on LG’s list. There’s currently no word about its SRP, but it’ll probably have the same price tag (USD69.99) as its predecessor.
