Samsung GT-N5100 shows up in GL Benchmark

Just before the end of October, we’re reported that Samsung filed for a DLNA certification for a device that seems to be an upcoming Galaxy Note with a model number GT-N5110. Along with the scoop, we also noted that the alleged device may be a smaller SGN handset as suggested by its lower model number. But it seems we thought wrong.

The GT-N5100 made its first premature virtual appearance in NenaMark2 back in November, now it was spotted being tested in GLBenchmark. The recent leak suggests that the upcoming Jelly bean tablet will sport a 7-inch WXGA (1280 x 800) display instead of 5-inch or smaller handset that we predicted. Moreover, the Galaxy Note 7 (unofficial name) will be powered by the South Korean tech giant’s very own Exynos 4412 quad-core processor with a 1.6GHz clock speed.

I think it’s safe to say that Sammy will officially unveil the GT-N5100 in the upcoming CES 2013 and MWC 2013. It’ll be interesting to see how Samsung price this 7-inch tablet, considering that other manufacturers are also rumored to release their own little take on the handy tablet with $99 price tag.
