Samsung Galaxy S4 on Quadrant, Antutu & Nenamark 2

We got a more exclusive encounter with the Samsung Galaxy S4 last night as the one and only test unit acquired by Globe Telecom finally got into our hands. First thing we did was complete the trio of benchmarks we failed to do during the launch in NY last month.

The variant of Galaxy S4 that we had was the i9505 which uses the Snapdragon 600 chip. The Nenamark 2 gave it a score of 60.2fps, a really good frame rate for a full HD 1080p display.

With Quadrant, we got an overall score of 12,151 points, which is the highest we’ve seen in any review unit we ever tested. This is also around 10% better than the first benchmark we did before (for the same variant).

Lastly, our Antutu Benchmark gave the Galaxy S4 a total score of 25,910. These are all really very high scores.

We have yet to get our hands on the Exynos 5 variant of the Galaxy S4 and we’re hoping to be able to run some benchmarks on it too. Previous reports indicate that both the Snapdragon 600 and Exynos 5 variants of the Galaxy S4 will be released in the Philippines this May.
