Fujifilm outs Instax Mini 90 Neoclassic

Albeit the overwhelming success that they’ve been having with their X-series cameras, Fujifilm hasn’t totally forgotten about their film roots as they unveil the latest addition to the popular Instax lineup, the Instax Mini 90 Neo Classic.

The Neo Classic moniker couldn’t be any fitting to describe the new Instax as it embody the perfect infusion of the old and the new. For starters, Fujifilm junks the toy-like form factor used on old Instax cameras and went for the retro-inspired design which gives the Mini 90 a more professional yet nostalgic feel that has often been associated to the firm’s X-Series cameras.

Other notable features of this film camera include a built-in flash, 60mm f/12 lens and a programmable shutter speed that maxes out at 1/400 of a second. On top of that, the Mini 90 also sports a handful of shooting modes (Double/Multiple exposure modes, Macro, Bulb) that opens up a lot of window for creative shots.

Shipment of the Instax Mini 90 Neo Classic is slated to start on the 20th of September and will be retailed for USD210 a pop.
